ZooDoo came to us wanting to revitalise their brand and take their marketing in a new and exciting direction. In early discussions, ZooDoo wanted to find a way to stand out from other wildlife parks in Tasmania and highlight their hands-on experiences for visitors.
A colourful new look
While originally interested in more natural colours, we advised ZooDoo to take its already colourful palette and expand it into a vibrant and fun style that was still modern and professional. Thus, breaking it away from the standard dull colour pallets currently used by their competitors. The new identity also put the animal in the spot light, ensuring they were the undisputed star of the show.
The style guide developed a palette of 6 complementing bright colours, a brand new fun ‘paws-on’ logo design and new typography options. The result is a fun, colourful, and professional zoo design that brings smiles to the faces of visitors.
Online and out there
As part of the rebrand, we also assisted Zoodoo in the redesign of their website. Data analysis showed that many people were turning away from their existing website at the time, prompting the need for a new website to be built. The new website now captures the new design direction and utilises the rebranding colours and images, showcased by expert web development and creative design. Zoodoo now boasts a creative and friendly website user experience.
The website has since seen a large growth in visitors and now has a full functioning online shop, allowing tickets to be purchased in advance and people to sponsor or donate to the zoo and its animals.
